Orange Dyed Amethyst Druze Candle Holder

Amethyst usually grows in geodes, which are hollow rocks with crystal-filled interiors. The surface of the interior is called Druze, which is a term used to describe a natural layer of crystals formed on the crust of a mineral, like, for example, the inside of an Amethyst geode.  From the outside, Amethyst geodes often look like ordinary rocks, but inside they contain a wonderland of crystals.

A very powerful and protective crystal, known as the "stone of sobriety," Amethyst was used in ancient times to recover from both physical addictions as well as addictive relationships. Amethyst can encourage inner strength and relieve stress.

The strong healing powers of this crystal can transmute lower vibrations to higher frequencies, transforming negative energy to love energy.  Amethyst provides a wonderful peaceful energy for meditations, and helps with developing intuition and psychic abilities.

Because each Druze is all natural, each piece will be as unique as the person who owns it. Small variations in size/color/shape from the one visible in the photograph are bound to exist – after all every authentic and natural crystal will have its own novel physical appearance. 

This candle holder is dyed in a warm orangish golden hue - although, being natural and minimally touched upon for the finished effect, the size would vary anywhere from 4”- 5 ½” – the impact and power of each however remains the same.
